From ede39780e21e7f8f50bd307bf965c647a91bb9c3 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Wayne Stambaugh Date: Tue, 18 Aug 2020 10:17:16 -0400 Subject: [PATCH] Remove all debugging output that cannot be disabled. The use of printf, wxLogDebug, and std::err/std::out causes excessive debugging output which makes finding specific debugging messages more difficult than it needs to be. There is still some debugging output in test code that really needs to be moved into a unit test. Add debugging output section to the coding policy regarding debugging output. --- 3d-viewer/3d_canvas/board_adapter.cpp | 16 -- 3d-viewer/3d_canvas/create_layer_items.cpp | 115 -------- .../c3d_render_createscene_ogl_legacy.cpp | 34 --- .../accelerators/cbvh_pbrt.cpp | 29 -- .../c3d_render_createscene.cpp | 53 ---- .../3d_rendering/3d_render_raytracing/ray.cpp | 10 +- .../shapes2D/cobject2d.cpp | 4 +- .../shapes2D/cpolygon2d.cpp | 15 - .../3d_render_raytracing/shapes3D/cbbox.cpp | 4 +- .../3d_render_raytracing/shapes3D/cobject.cpp | 6 +- 3d-viewer/common_ogl/cogl_att_list.cpp | 1 - .../development/coding-style-policy.md | 39 ++- common/base_struct.cpp | 5 - common/dialog_shim.cpp | 13 +- common/dsnlexer.cpp | 3 +- common/eagle_parser.cpp | 3 +- common/eda_base_frame.cpp | 8 +- common/gal/opengl/cached_container.cpp | 54 +--- common/gal/opengl/cached_container_gpu.cpp | 10 +- common/gal/opengl/shader.cpp | 6 +- common/gal/opengl/utils.cpp | 10 +- common/gestfich.cpp | 12 +- common/kicad_curl/kicad_curl.cpp | 4 +- common/lib_tree_model_adapter.cpp | 4 - common/lset.cpp | 4 +- common/project.cpp | 6 - common/ptree.cpp | 6 +- common/tool/action_menu.cpp | 8 +- common/tool/picker_tool.cpp | 12 +- common/widgets/mathplot.cpp | 265 +----------------- cvpcb/cvpcb_mainframe.cpp | 4 +- cvpcb/readwrite_dlgs.cpp | 4 +- cvpcb/tools/cvpcb_association_tool.cpp | 12 +- eeschema/class_library.cpp | 7 - eeschema/cross-probing.cpp | 3 +- eeschema/dialogs/dialog_bom.cpp | 3 +- .../dialogs/dialog_print_using_printer.cpp | 21 +- eeschema/eeschema_config.cpp | 7 +- eeschema/lib_arc.cpp | 6 - eeschema/lib_pin.cpp | 1 - eeschema/sch_edit_frame.cpp | 3 +- eeschema/sch_sheet.cpp | 5 - eeschema/tools/backanno.cpp | 6 - gerbview/am_param.cpp | 15 +- gerbview/am_primitive.cpp | 1 - gerbview/gerbview_frame.cpp | 12 +- include/tool/examples/delegate_example.cpp | 3 - libs/kimath/src/geometry/shape_file_io.cpp | 4 +- libs/kimath/src/md5_hash.cpp | 2 - pcbnew/autorouter/ar_autoplacer.cpp | 11 +- pcbnew/autorouter/ar_matrix.cpp | 10 +- pcbnew/connectivity/connectivity_algo.cpp | 21 +- pcbnew/connectivity/connectivity_items.cpp | 8 +- pcbnew/eagle_plugin.cpp | 15 - pcbnew/edit.cpp | 3 +- pcbnew/edit_track_width.cpp | 3 +- pcbnew/exporters/export_vrml.cpp | 45 +-- pcbnew/files.cpp | 3 +- pcbnew/footprint_editor_utils.cpp | 8 +- pcbnew/footprint_wizard_frame_functions.cpp | 11 +- pcbnew/github/github_getliblist.cpp | 4 +- pcbnew/github/github_plugin.cpp | 9 +- pcbnew/layer_widget.cpp | 11 +- pcbnew/legacy_plugin.cpp | 2 - pcbnew/load_select_footprint.cpp | 15 +- pcbnew/netinfo_list.cpp | 10 +- .../netlist_reader/kicad_netlist_reader.cpp | 4 +- pcbnew/pcb_expr_evaluator.cpp | 4 - pcbnew/pcb_parser.cpp | 26 -- pcbnew/pcbnew_config.cpp | 4 +- pcbnew/router/pns_component_dragger.cpp | 5 - pcbnew/router/pns_line.cpp | 20 +- pcbnew/router/pns_optimizer.cpp | 4 - pcbnew/router/pns_shove.cpp | 6 +- pcbnew/router/pns_walkaround.cpp | 18 +- pcbnew/specctra_import_export/specctra.cpp | 6 +- .../specctra_export.cpp | 4 +- pcbnew/tools/pcbnew_control.cpp | 1 - pcbnew/tools/pcbnew_picker_tool.cpp | 14 +- pcbnew/undo_redo.cpp | 9 +- .../tools/coroutines/coroutines.cpp | 12 +- qa/drc_proto/drc_clearance_test_functions.cpp | 3 +- qa/drc_proto/drc_engine.cpp | 26 +- qa/drc_proto/drc_proto_test.cpp | 3 +- qa/eeschema/test_sch_symbol.cpp | 4 - qa/libeval_compiler/libeval_compiler_test.cpp | 48 +--- qa/libs/kimath/geometry/test_shape_arc.cpp | 17 +- qa/pcbnew/test_libeval_compiler.cpp | 16 +- .../tools/pcb_parser/pcb_parser_tool.cpp | 6 +- .../polygon_generator/polygon_generator.cpp | 8 +- .../polygon_triangulation.cpp | 15 +- qa/pcbnew_utils/board_file_utils.cpp | 6 +- qa/qa_utils/mocks.cpp | 3 +- qa/qa_utils/pcb_test_frame.cpp | 3 +- qa/qa_utils/utility_program.cpp | 1 - utils/idftools/dxf2idf.cpp | 10 +- utils/idftools/idf_helpers.cpp | 2 +- utils/idftools/idf_parser.cpp | 1 - utils/kicad2step/kicad2step.cpp | 1 - 99 files changed, 231 insertions(+), 1146 deletions(-) diff --git a/3d-viewer/3d_canvas/board_adapter.cpp b/3d-viewer/3d_canvas/board_adapter.cpp index 6497c984c2..59eda07bf1 100644 --- a/3d-viewer/3d_canvas/board_adapter.cpp +++ b/3d-viewer/3d_canvas/board_adapter.cpp @@ -433,26 +433,10 @@ void BOARD_ADAPTER::InitSettings( REPORTER* aStatusReporter, REPORTER* aWarningR else aWarningReporter->Report( wxEmptyString );
