Ian McInerney 63b53c3968 Force regeneration of the lib tree on first load 
Just setting the text field is not guaranteed to fire
a text event, so we must forcefully call the regenerate
function to ensure the preselect is handled.

jean-pierre charras c41199f048 lib_tree.cpp: Fix a lot of wxWidgets alerts on Windows. 
On Windows calling m_adapter->RefreshTree() to refresh the tree does not work fine.
Just calling Refresh() is enough.

Ian McInerney f896043067 Fix comments for switch statement fall throughs 
This cleans up all GCC warnings (-Wimplicit-fallthrough=2) about
implicitly falling through switch cases.

Ian McInerney 2f75dfb09c Fix symbol editor column widths 
102b5301 introduced an issue on GTK where the column width was
incorrect when read, then was set incorrectly (a known problem
on GTK tree views). We should only apply that fix on OSX.

Ian McInerney bb596ebdaf Fix width of part selector columns 
* Move column width manipulation into the lib tree adapter
* Fix issue with GTK where if someone types too fast, the part
  column gets 0 width.

Jeff Young 6b6e9eddee Return control of Symbol and Footprint chooser col widths to user. 
The auto-calculation wasn't working out and even with it some users
wanted control.

Seth Hillbrand a74aa3850a libtree: Update width automatically 
When filtering, we update the width of the displayed column to ensure
the full text is visible to the user.  Check is rough, based on line
width (doesn't completely account for differing char widths) but is
sufficient for the approximate difference

Wayne Stambaugh 8e7d6063fd Minor dialog and frame window improvements.
