* Replace use of wxICON by new icons declaration.

Commit Fabrizio's PNG image improvement patch with minor fixes.
...
* Added checks for Inkscape and pngcrush when MAINTAIN_PNG mode is enabled.
* Rebuild PNGs with transparent background.
