Jeff Young ba26e056ec Implement groups for modedit.
This uncovered a memory corruption bug in MODULE's move operator,
several bugs in MODULE's move and copy constructors, and a bug in
BOARD's GetItem() call.

It also bumps the file format for saving/restoring groups inside
footprints.

jean-pierre charras bc5dcf182f keepout in footprint: fix some crashes and issues. Create a specific type (PCB_MODULE_ZONE_AREA_T) for zones in footprint. The new class (MODULE_ZONE_CONTAINER) is the same as ZONE_CONTAINER, but the type ID is PCB_MODULE_ZONE_AREA_T instead of PCB_ZONE_AREA_T.
This is mandatory because these zones must be handled differently in many functions.

Jeff Young 6e9475694c Fix bug with zone selection when zones are shown filled. 2018-11-04 19:17:53 +00:00
Jeff Young 569d4a0f64 More selection logic improvements.
Separate out zone edges (which are quite specific, and should
win over most other things) from zone fills (which are pretty
generic and should only be considered when there's nothing else).

Also excludes zone fills when the zones aren't being shown as
filled.

Seth Hillbrand b3a5e08c2f pcbnew: Rename PCB_ZONE_T and remove from connectivity
SEGZONE types were confusingly named PCB_ZONE_T. Zones in pcbnew are
now _only_ PCB_ZONE_AREA_T, so we name segzone types PCB_SEGZONE_T to be
clear.

This also removes processing of the SEGZONEs from connectivity
calculations.

Wayne Stambaugh ded4ad9b17 Pcbnew: delete objects from removed layers.
This fixes potential DRC false positive bugs that occur when inner layers
are removed from the board but the actual objects on contained on those
layers remain in the board.

Since Pcbnew does not handle odd number layers, this is not a perfect fix.
When the user chooses the front or back layer only options from the layer
setup dialog, objects on the copper layers will not be removed. This will
not cause the false positive issue described above.

Get rid of dialog OK and cancel button event handlers and use the proper
TranferData(To/From)Window for handling control data.

Add PCB_LAYER_COLLECTOR for collecting board objects by layer. Factor out
redundant [] operators into base PCB_COLLECTOR object.

jean-pierre charras 4fc230b773 Rework on Enum PAD_SHAPE_T, PAD_DRILL_SHAPE_T and PAD_ATTR_T (see rev 6008) : the new and better names are now used in Kicad code and existing python scripts.
PAD_SHAPE_T and PAD_ATTR_T still have a double definition (new names and old names) to be sure python scripts are nor broken by the change.
PAD_DRILL_SHAPE_T does not have a double definition, because it is unlikely oblong holes are used in python scripts.
Double definitions will be removed in the (next) future.

Lorenzo Marcantonio 0da38e5b62 More work on module texts, and especially on the collector
The members SetIgnoreMTextsOnCopper, SetIgnoreMTextsOnCmp,
SetIgnoreModulesOnCu, SetIgnoreModulesOnCmp in the collector guide are
renamed to the clearer SetIgnoreMTextsOnBack, SetIgnoreMTextsOnFront,
SetIgnoreModulesOnBack, SetIgnoreModulesOnFront

Modified the collector and drawing behaviour for text in modules as
discussed in the mailing list.

* Now module text on layers different than Silk should work! *

Still need UI support for setting the layer in the module editor.

Lorenzo Marcantonio 424aac6cf2 TEXTE_MODULE cleanup in preparation for text on different layers
- Removed the friends MODULE and FOOTPRINT_EDIT_FRAME from TEXTE_MODULE
  (as in the @todo comment)

- Refactored the Rotate/Flip/Mirror for text in modules into the
TEXTE_MODULE class itself (members RotateWithModule, FlipWithModule,
  MirrorWithModule)

- New behaviour in coloring text on screen: reference and value still
take the color from the MOD_TEXT_FR_VISIBLE and MOD_TEXT_BK_VISIBLE
visibles; other text takes the color of the layer containing it
(except when hidden, obviously) but still get its visibility
controlled by those visibles (probably the most intuitive and useful
  behaviour)

- Still need to decide: should text on a layer be hidden when the layer
  is? Probably yes (still to be implemented);

- Some comment fixed and many cast converted to static_cast

Dick Hollenbeck 7e483f69bd Modular KiCad Blueprint Milestone B), major portions:
*) When kicad.exe closes a project, close any open KIFACEs so that they cannot
get disassociated from their true PROJECT.
*) Allow loading eeschema library editor from kicad.exe
*) Allow loading pcbnew library editor from kicad.exe
  *) Rename LIB_COMPONENT to LIB_PART.
  *) Add class PART_LIBS, and PART_LIB.
  *) Make PART_LIBS non-global, i.e. PROJECT specific.
*) Implement "data on demand" for PART_LIBS
*) Implement "data on demand" for schematic SEARCH_STACK.
*) Use RSTRINGs to retain eeschema editor's notion of last library and part being edited.
*) Get rid of library search on every SCH_COMPONENT::Draw() call, instead use
     a weak pointer.
*) Remove all chdir() calls so projects don't need to be CWD.
*) Romove APPEND support from OpenProjectFiles().
*) Make OpenProjectFiles() robust, even for creating new projects.
*) Load EESCHEMA colors in the KIWAY::OnKiwayStart() rather in window open,
and save them in the .eeschema config file, not in the project file.
*) Fix bug with wxDir() while accessing protected dirs in kicad.exe
*) Consolidate template copying into PROJECT class, not in kicad.exe source.
*) Generally untangle eeschema, making its libraries not global but rather
     held in the PROJECT.

Dick Hollenbeck 4578ea8b9e 1) Add 32 Cu Layers.
2) Change from legacy Cu stack to counting down from top=(F_Cu or 0).
The old Cu stack required knowing the count of Cu layers to make
sense of the layer number when converting to many exported file types.
The new Cu stack is more commonly used, although ours still gives
   B_Cu a fixed number.
3) Introduce class LSET and enum LAYER_ID.
4) Change *.kicad_pcb file format version to 4 from 3.
5) Change fixed names Inner1_Cu-Inner14_Cu to In1_Cu-In30_Cu and their
   meanings are typically flipped.
6) Moved the #define LAYER_N_* stuff into legacy_plugin.cpp where they
can die a quiet death, and switch to enum LAYER_ID symbols throughout.
7) Removed the LEGACY_PLUGIN::Save() and FootprintSave() functions.
You will need to convert to the format immediately, *.kicad_pcb and
*.kicad_mod (=pretty) since legacy format was never going to know
about 32 Cu layers and additional technical layers and the reversed Cu
   stack.
