This moves EESchema DLIST structures to rtree. These changes are more
fundamental than the pcbnew changes from 9163ac543888c01d11d1877d7c1
and 961b22d60 as eeschema operations were more dependent on passing
drawing list references around with SCH_ITEM* objects.
Derived symbols were causing the symbol properties grid to assume that
the reference could not be edited because derived symbols inherit the
reference from the parent symbol. The flattened symbols in the schematic
still have the parent set which cause the issue. Clearing the parent of
the flattened symbol resolves the issue.
Fix a minor bug in the symbol information of derived symbols show in the
symbol chooser dialog.
Fixes#3723https://gitlab.com/kicad/code/kicad/issues/3723
The schematic symbol swap function still had the old pin map swapping
code which overwrote the correct pin maps that were rebuild after the
library symbol was update. Duh!
Fixes kicad/code/kicad#3661
The new symbol library changes left stale pointers in the connection
graph because the SCH_COMPONENT object pins were not always getting
updated when a new copy of the library symbol was updated.
Force a full update of the connection graph whenever the schematic
library symbol links are refreshed. This seems like overkill but it
ensures that there a no stale libraries items left in the connection
graph.
Fixes kicad/code/kicad#3658
This change completely removes the LIB_ALIAS design pattern an replaces
it by allowing LIB_PART objects to inherit from other LIB_PART objects.
The initial implementation only allows for single inheritance and only
supports the mandatory fields in the derived part because that is all
that the current symbol library file format will support. Once the new
file format is implemented and saving to the old file format is deprecated,
more complex inheritance will be added. The LIB_ALIAS information saved
in the document files was move into the LIB_PART object. This change
impacts virtually every part of the schematic and symbol library editor
code so this commit message is woefully incomplete.
REMOVE: Removed the symbol aliases concept from the schematic and symbol
editors and the symbol viewer.
NEW: Replace the symbol alias concept with simple inheritance that allows
a library symbol to be derived from another library symbol.
This only applies to the root symbol when the datasheet field is not
empty and the datasheet for root symbol alias in the document file is
empty. Use the root symbol datasheet field value when adding a new
symbol that meets this criteria.

Force the symbol library links whenever the symbol library table has been
modified. This will use the cache as a fallback when a library has been
removed that contains links in the schematic rather than display.
Fix the SCH_COMPONENT symbol resolver when falling back to the cache. The
resolver was using the LIB_ID ':' notation which was failing. Replacing
':' with '_' fixed this issue. This was also an issue when generating the
symbol message panel information.
Convert wxLogDebug to wxLogTrace in symbol resolver code path. Add new
trace type KICAD_SYM_RESOLVE.

In the component, an m_unit/m_convert element is 1-indexed as opposed to
the library where they are 0-indexed. The 0-index in the library is
reserved for those elements that are shared across all conversion/unit
whereas it is invalid for the component.

No dangling symbol for text items with a NO-CONNECT.
DanglingStateChanged doesn't work with dangling flag aggregators
(which return true if any child is dangling).
Then again, we don't actually use any of the aggregators anyway
so I removed them.

Correct rotation of vertical text.
Fix issue where bold global label would affect thickness of next

Now only (and all) new sheet path(s) created have a reference cleared, as expected.

Clearing annotations should only clear the settings that can be set by
the matching annotate function. Even in components where the units are
functionally the same, the unit choice should be retained as there are
often other considerations when chosing the unit.

Nets assigned by power pins are weak, meaning they are valid
as long as there is nothing else attached to such pins. This patch
checks whether there are other wires or pins attached to a power pin

When an attempt to resolve a library symbol link having a library
nickname that was no longer found in the symbol library table, the
symbol resolution was not falling back to the cache library due to
a silently handled exception. Add check for valid symbol library
table nickname before attempting to resolve symbol link to prevent
exception bypassing falling back to the cache library.

Pins are weak_ptrs to the library, so they require a lock() before
accessing. This imposes a performance hit on fast loops that access
the pin list repeatedly. This patch caches the pin position locally

Create dialog and code to allow legacy schematic symbols to be remapped
from the old library path look up method to the new symbol library table
method by using the following steps:
1) Create a project symbol library table containing all of the symbol
libraries defined in the old library look up list not found in the
global symbol library table.
2) Map each symbol to the correct symbol in the symbol library table
if possible.
Recreate library link to symbols so look up method can be converted to
symbol library table properly.
Add function to SCH_COMPONENT to link library symbols using the symbol
library table.
eeschema now supports arbitrary colors for all object types, and

bitmaps.h was included in nearly every file in the project due to it
being included by base_struct.h
Only about 130 files actually use the XPM definitions defined there, and
many of those already included bitmaps.h themselves, or via
menu_helpers.h. However, touching bitmaps.h would result in over 400
rebuilt files for pcbnew alone.
This commit moves the bitmap-related types like BITMAT_DEF out to a new
header, which is still included by base_struct.h, which is less
avoidable for now, it's it's used in the interface.
The icon list is still in bitmaps.h. This has the side effect that's
it's now easier to automatically generate this file.
Many classes in pcbnew and eeschema needed some functions moved
to the implementaitons from the headers too.
