Jeff Young 67f2d454e9 Draw pads on internal layers if they're not on F.Cu or B.Cu.
Python footprint generators are generating them, the Altium board
importer needs them, and we'll need them for pad stacks.

Jeff Young 836c1ea56e Fix a bunch of un-caught boost::bad_pointer exceptions.
This also removes vector cover types which do nothing except obfuscate
the underlying implementation.

Mainly changes SCH_SHEET_PINS and CONFIG_PARAM_ARRAY (which will soon
be replaced by Jon's new stuff).

* Split up the thirdparty code into the thirdparty folder (#3637)
* Create a new kimath static library containing all the math functions

This is part of cleaning the build system for #1906.

jean-pierre charras f2518a5120 ADDED: pad fabrication property, as required in latest Gerber file specification.
Property is a pad info used mainly for fabrication or test.
Currently, supported properties are:
BGA property (variant of SMD pad)
Fiducial (global to the board or local to the footprint)
Test Point
Heat sink
Castellated.
And are used in Gerber files (copper layers and drill files)

Increment BOARD_FILE_VERSION  to 20200104

Seth Hillbrand c4d853c1e8 SHAPE_LINE_CHAIN: Remove element access
This is the first step to allowing non-segments in the line chain.
External routines cannot be allowed to change the line chain without
going through the internal routines.  To accomplish this, we remove the
Vertex() and Point() access routines and only leave the const versions.
Transformations are given for both points as well as the chain itself.

Seth Hillbrand b5f021ff9f Cleanup: Replace push_back with emplace_back
In cases where we create a new item and immediately push into a
container, the emplace idiom is faster and more efficient.

jean-pierre charras 71cd8c57bf ADDED: Pcbnew, add "pin function" (pin name in eeschema) to pads.
The pin name defined in Eeschema is now available as pad info.
Useful for the board designer (the pin function is displayed in the message panel).
Needed for the Gerber P&P files.

Seth Hillbrand bc26ccf9f2 pcbnew: Correct polygon flipping in custom pads
Custom pads are referenced to the anchor pad 0-point, so flipping the
polygon should be about 0 and not the flip point.

Seth Hillbrand 6bcf1839b7 pcbnew: Add arc approximation setting to board
This places the arc approximation setting in the kicad_pcb file and uses
it for all parts of the board rendering where arcs are converted to
segments.  This allows the user to customize their speed vs. accuracy
tradeoff.  The default setting of maximum error of 0.005mm is acceptable
for small boards on moderate systems.

This removes the remaining hard-coded segments counts and replaces them
with the relative error calculation where the segments per arc is
determined by the maximum error we allow (smaller arcs = fewer segments)

jean-pierre charras d259459a14 Pcbnew: add a new primitive pad shape: chamfered round rect pad.
Allows 0 to 4 chamfered corners, not only one.

A custom shape allow this kind of shape. However because it is a primitive,
it is easier to edit and it support thermal reliefs.

Tomasz Włostowski 9657039af2 pcbnew: multiple fixes concerning track->pad net propagation used by Track/Via properties dialog:
- Added ignore netcode option to CONNECTIVITY_DATA::GetConnectedItems()
- PlaceModule() now ensures the module added to the board (and thus to the connectivity database) has correct bounding box necessary for R-trees to work
- Use recursive connected pad search so that the new net is propagated to all pads

Seth Hillbrand 135ff314ca pcbnew: Correct layer naming
Layer bit sets get chosen for the layer name, starting with the copper
layers and then the technicals.  Additionally, multi-layer pads are
appended with an indicator that additional layer bits are set.

Seth Hillbrand 9cafe65e84 pcbnew: Allow user-setting rounded rectangle radius
When designing pads, it can be helpful to not only see the resulting
rounded rectangle radius from a given percentage but also to set it,
constraining the related percentage.  This adjusts the dialog to allow
editing the rounded rectangle corner radius.  It does not change the
file format as the resulting ratio is saved.  Further updates of the pad
size or ratio will modify the radius.

Jeff Young 2d4ba56ac0 Promote aperture pads to first-class citizens.
Well, almost anyway.  We can't use a pad attribute for them as
that would change the file format.  So they're currently
defined as a CONN pad with no copper layers.

However, when figuring out of existing pads should be *treated*
as aperture pads, we just check for no copper layers.

Jeff Young eacaa39aa2 Remove global units usage from GetSelectionText...
... and GetMsgPanelInfo.

Step 4 in the g_UserUnit eradication effort.

Also removes a couple of conversion routines that were close
enough to extinction.

Andrzej Wolski 4c19606eb7 Fix pads and footprints rendering switches behavior
Pads and footprints rendering switches in Render tab were working incorrectly, as described in bug report:

This patch fixes it and makes GAL behave as the legacy canvas.

LAYER_NON_PLATED to LAYER_NON_PLATEDHOLES
LAYER_PADS_HOLES to LAYER_PADS_PLATEDHOLES
LAYER_PADS to LAYER_PADS_TH
and add comments and fix a render issue in gal mode for non plated holes.
