Roberto Fernandez Bautista 235688e459 Less restrictive Arc Track Dragging tool
Use the connecting straight tracks even if not exactly parallel - allow
an error margin configurable in ADVANCED_CFG (default 1 degree). Also
be less strict about end point matching and use the width of the track
as the criteria to determine suitability.

Finally, delete any short lengths of track at the end of the operation
and amend the arc end points to keep connectivity.

Seth Hillbrand 0a4ce183a4 ADDED: polygon newlines every point
By default KiCad will now print each polygon point on its own line.
This adds to the vertical distance for large polygons but makes revision
control much cleaner as single point addition to a polygon does not
propagate to a diff over the full polygon.

Users/developers who want to save the files using the 4-points per line
have the ADVANCED_CONFIG setting 'CompactSave' which will provide the
original save method

Jon Evans e59a3d981e Implement a new settings framework across all of KiCad
CHANGED: Settings are now stored in versioned sub-directories
ADDED: First-run dialog for migrating settings from a previous version
CHANGED: Settings are now stored as JSON files instead of wxConfig-style INI files
CHANGED: Color settings are now all stored in a separate settings file
CHANGED: The symbol editor and footprint editor now have their own settings files
CHANGED: Color settings are no longer exposed through BOARD object
CHANGED: Page layout editor now uses Eeschema's color scheme

Settings are now managed through a central SETTINGS_MANAGER held by PGM_BASE.
Existing settings will be migrated from the wxConfig format on first run of each application.
Per-application settings are now stored in one class for each application.

jean-pierre charras f7159e4692 Make pin function in pads an advanced feature.
Mainly because it creates a new keyword a new keyword in *.kicad_pcb files,
and needs some tests, this is currently a advanced feature.
Enable it by adding "UsePinFunction=1" in "kicad_advanced" config file.

Note also "UsePinFunction=1" only enable saving this info in *.kicad_pcb
and kicad_mod files.

John Beard e856a7a09c Disable legacy canvas on GTK3
This make the use of legacy canvas on GTK3 a default-off
advanced config. Legacy is substantially broken on GTK3
and is of basically no use at all to general users on this
platform.

If the program starts with legacy canvas in the config,
it is forced into a GAL mode, as otherwise it could happen
that the user is stuck and unable to get into pcbnew to change
the setting.

of the SVG importer. It also allows the import manager to be
tested more completely.

John Beard a33a8292a4 Run-time config for advanced options
This can be used for "advanced" options which are for developers
to use for feature-flags and other configuration. Run time config
has some advantages over preprocessor defines:

* Can be changed without recompilation
   * Sensitive to XDG_CONFIG_DIR, so flipping configs is easy
* Better compiler coverage (less conditionally compiled code means
less chance to break a different configuration). Also better
  analysis coverage.
* Type safe config params
* Centralised documentation: it's in doxygen, in one place

No advanced config should be required by a general users. If a general
user does use one of these configs, it's probably because:

* There is a bug and one of these configs is a workaround
* A config in here is generally useful and should be moved into the
relevant application config and given UI.

For now, the config is read-only, and is read from the
"kicad_advanced" config file in the normal config dir.
